Art in ITS
To the event: art in its
Exhibition
The exhibition (from 05.03.-01.04.2022) shows selected works created in the time period from 2017 to 2021. Yulia Kazakova leads the viewer with her unique visual language through fascinating scenes of the construction site around Stuttgart 21.
Since June 2017, the artist has been working on the S21 series of works, which artistically documents the emergence of the new train station and the reorganization of the entire Stuttgart rail hub.
Impressions from regular visits to construction sites give rise to large-format, painterly collages of impressive presence in the artist's studio in Berlin. Yulia Kazakova's paintings on the subject of the new station construction are chronicles for her, depicting the various stages of the construction work in a neutral way.
Yulia Kazakova will accompany the construction project Stuttgart 21 artistically, painterly until completion.
